North Carolina law mandates that all children entering the 7th grade are required to have a Tdap and meningococcal conjugate vaccine. Tdap covers your child for tetanus, diphtheria, and pertussis, also known as whooping cough. Meningococcal vaccine is given to help prevent meningitis. Please bring in proof from your health care provider with the date the vaccines were given.

Exceptions to the immunization requirements will be made only for religious reasons or for medical reasons approved by a physician pursuant to state law and regulation per N.C. G.S. 130A-156 and N.C.G.S. 130A-157.

Anuncio importante para los estudiantes que actualmente est en 6to grado sobre la vacuna Tdap y la vacuna contra la Meningitis.

La ley de Carolina del Norte establece que todos los ninos que ingresan a 7mo grado tengan la vacuna Tdap y la vacuna conjudata contra el Meningococo.

Lavacuna Tdap cubre a suhijo contra el Tetanos, la Difteria, y Pertussis, tambien conocida como Tosferina. La vacuna meningococica se administra para ayudar a prevenir la meningitis. Por favor, traiga un comprobante de su proveedor do atencion medica con la fecha en que se administraron las vacunas.

Se haran excepciones a los requisitos de vacunacion solo por razones religiosas o por razones medicas aprobadas por un medico de conformidad con la ley y el reglamento extatales segun N.C. G.S. 130A-156 y N.C. G.S. 130A-157

Photo IDs are required when checking out students.

Parents, when you are checking out a student, you must show a photo ID and be on your students’ guardian or emergency contacts page. Make sure anyone who should be able to sign out your student is on your list. Early checkouts are only allowed until 3:30.

Credit by Demonstrated Mastery is a process that allows students to earn high school course credit by demonstrating command of course material/content without taking the actual course. Content for the CDM process is based on the North Carolina Standard Course of Study. The application window is May 1-22. Learn more about CDM and important dates

Union County Public Schools uses PaySchools Central for school meal payments (replaced K-12 Payment Center). Parents will need their child’s Infinite Campus student ID number to register for PaySchools Central and complete a free and reduced meal application.
